The Avenue
This ground floor reconfiguration and refurbishment was designed to create a warm, welcoming home filled with natural light and a stronger connection to the garden. The existing layout was thoughtfully reimagined to create a more open and comfortable flow, allowing the kitchen, dining and living areas to connect naturally and work together as one inviting space.
A soft palette of warm whites, natural timber and tactile finishes brings a sense of comfort and ease throughout the interior. Gentle layers of colour, texture and carefully crafted details create a timeless feel, combining understated elegance with warmth, character and a relaxed atmosphere that makes the home enjoyable to live in every day.

Ground Floor Re-layout and full reburbishment
New industrial-style windows were added across the rear of the house, opening up the living spaces to the garden and bringing in plenty of natural light throughout the day. The slim steel-look frames add character and a contemporary feel, while keeping the views to the garden open and uninterrupted.
This design language continues inside through glazed partitions and subtle metal details, helping each space feel connected while still having its own identity. The result is a bright, airy home where light flows freely and the relationship between indoors and outdoors feels natural and effortless.
The kitchen sits at the heart of the home, connecting naturally with the dining and living areas to create an open and sociable space. The layout allows each area to flow into the next, making it easy to cook, eat, relax and spend time together while still giving each space its own purpose and character.
A simple, consistent palette of materials is used throughout, helping the home feel connected and cohesive. The same flooring, finishes and textures run across the kitchen, dining and living spaces, creating a sense of continuity and making the interior feel larger, calmer and more welcoming.
The hidden utility
Wall panelling was used throughout the ground floor to add warmth, texture and character, helping to create a relaxed and welcoming feel throughout the home. Painted in soft, muted tones, it brings a sense of calm while adding subtle detail and interest to the spaces.
Tucked neatly within the panelling is a hidden door leading to the utility room. By blending seamlessly into the wall, it keeps the practical areas out of sight and allows the interior to feel clean, uncluttered and thoughtfully put together.
